I had a look through the matriculation list on this link and worryingly my car, a 2009 Honda CRV isn´t listed. looking back at previous documents and they are all the same. Considering they are fairly popular in Spain this seems strange. Anyone have any ideas why?

You're looking in the wrong place. There is a separate list for Todo Terrano after the list of saloon cars.
