ITV and seat belts
ITV and seat belts
My car has just failed the ITV on seat belts. But I don't know if I have to have them all replaced or just the couple that don't retract properly. Does anyone know?

Re: ITV and seat belts
I have one on the drivers seat that does not retract easily. The tester was happy that it locked. My back seats were down and she didn't ask me to pull them back up so no back belts tested. It is just your luck.

Re: ITV and seat belts
Hi eveyon,
They should have noted the item /items that have failed, these would then be replaced.
If its just a general failed seatbelts (you should have queried which ones before leaving test centre) , I would replace the ones you know that are Faulty and take for retest.

All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

You can always go back to the ITV test centre, and ask for clarification on the failed item. It will cost nothing.

Ha the same problem myself a few years ago - only had to replace the faulty ones.
