The Redex name is Easy Start. Basically ether gas. Remember using it on plant machinery in winters back in the 70's. Never seen it on sale down these parts although if you just ask at an auto factors they'll help.

Not sure on petrols but in the good old days we used to use easy start on the old Perkins Diesels. The problem is once you start to use it they get hooked on it and won't start without it. It does something to the pump and injectors.
You may be better with your Moto just getting it nice and warm and coating everything electrical in WD40.

If any engine is reluctant to start in our mild climate (compared to the UK anyway) then there will be a reason for it. Try getting it serviced properly, including new points/plug etc, and a thorough check of the battery and compression.

On a petrol engine, if the fuel is reasonably fresh (less than a year old), and the choke working, the engine should start easily.
Check spark strength, and renew plug (with correct type) is a first step. Turn off electrics (like lighting) when starting.
If electric start, battery or battery connections may need attention.
