Parking ticket.
Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered, but I got a parking ticket in Fuingerola yesterday.
Can I pay it online ? If so, where do i go to ?
Or can I pay it locally, at town hall or police station - I am in Iznajar inland.
Thanks in advance.

I hope for nothing - I fear nothing - I am free.
Re: Parking ticket.
You could have cancelled it on the day for around 3 euros but it has to be before midnight.

Re: Parking ticket.
Obviously it might be different here but I normally pay fines at the bank.
Re: Parking ticket.
I think it depends on how and why you got the parking ticket.
In Fuengirola if you park where you should have bought a ticket from the machine or have parked longer than you paid for then you can pay the excess charge plus a small fine at tone of the parking ticket pay machines.
If you park in a no parking area then that is entirely different and your car might be towed away.
Cheers

He got a ticket. The car wasn’t towed.
Re: Parking ticket.
A slight variation....
I have been sent a speeding ticket via my Car hire company (and charged 40 euros for the service !) I am due back in Spain in 3 weeks time....can I just pay the fine then or do I need to take action now? Do I pay the fine at the bank or police station?

Check your credit card. My son in law got done in Switzerland and the hire company just took the money from his card.gus wrote:A slight variation....

Re: Parking ticket.
They have taken the 40euros for their charge but have said the fine is between me and the police who "might" pursue me for the 100 Euro fine.

Re: Parking ticket.
All the speeding tickets (and there were a few) I got in Madrid, could be paid on line. The earlier the better as you get a reduction.
Re: Parking ticket.
can ant say how long speed tickets stay live if someone forgets to pay?
Re: Parking ticket.
Along time from stories ive read.
Re: Parking ticket.
Also don't forget the fine increases if not paid.
The previous owner of my wife's car ignored a speeding fine.
It eventually increased to €2000.
Cheers
