Please can someone explain how one books a ITV Apointment using ITV Veiasa website. There is an extra "introduzca los datos " block to fill in now. How does one complete this block. We have the correct Registration Number and Registration Date but website says the Vehicle is not registered in the system and to phone
959 99 99 99 to get an appointment.
Please Help.
Thank You
David

Re: ITV Solicitar Cita
I have never used the registration date but use the last six of the Bastidor. Never failed thus far on my re-matriculated car.

Re: ITV Solicitar Cita
Are you filling the reg number in in the correct way?
If you click on the +info to the right of the box it shows how to type it in, then the final 6 digits of the chassis number should do it, like lyric I did it for a recently re registered car and it accepted it as well as my van recently.

Yes clicking the +info to the right of any box shows you format of the required field and, often, where to find the necessary information.

Yes, I am filling the reg no correctly and the chassis no. This car was changed over to Spanish Plates last October and ITV'd at the same time. Can not understand why the website is still telling that the vehicle it is not registered in the system?????

Re: ITV Solicitar Cita
If matriculated on to Spanish plates just last October, it's just possible that the system is regarding the car as just one year old, and therefore not requiring an ITV. That happened to ours - even though it was nine years old when matriculated, and the build date/date of first registration clearly recorded.
Unsure why the reg no isn't recognised, but maybe for ITV purposes, it isn't.
A phone call to them, or a visit to your ITV station should clarify.

Re: ITV Solicitar Cita
i don't believe this explanation as the Lady Owner has just received a letter stating the ITV is due on 26/09/2018.
if the Car is not registered in the system, how has a letter been generated for its second ITV?????

Re: ITV Solicitar Cita
Thank Chris, will do what you suggest. Also a big thank you to everyone who replied to my query. Much appreciated.

That happened to me at first repeat ITV it sorted itself out thereafter.
Re: ITV Solicitar Cita
We have found a couple of times that you need to give the system time, after the issuing of the letter, before you make your application for a Cita on their website. It seems to be a sort of mañana syndrome where you would think that as the letter is sent out, the details would be fitted into the computer system at the same time, but it seems not. Round here (not sure about how things are in Estepona!) there is usually plenty of access to lots of dates and times around the required date, so leave it a couple more days and try again. Then if it still won't do it, you may have to phone or visit the ITV centre.
