Hi
Has anyone recently taken any parrots to or from Spain, by car or van etc.
I know you could drive through the channel tunnel no problem to Spain a while ago, but do not know if that is still the case, also i know you had to see the vet on arrival back in the UK, and keep them away from any other type of birds for a month until the vet saw them again, can anyone update me please
Thanks

Was going to take my two african greys to Spain by van had them tested by a Defra registered vet but missed the timeline so employed a animal carrier who got them tested again and delivered them to Malaga airport in pristene condition with all paperwork in order about four weeks ago no problems about bird flue, fortunatly the Spanish customs didnt understand english otherwise they probally would have landed up in jail good luck with your birds

good luck with your journey with your parrots I am at last (after 4 months of delays) will be taking the 5.50pm flight from Stansted tomorrow 20th June to Granada airport to join my parrots oh and my partner Margaret to spend the rest of our lives in Andalucia, hope to be back on line (you all know the Spanish system) as soon as possible.
