Please does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this predicament: We live near the castle in Salobreña where there are lots of kittens - idyllic, except for this weekend when a few mindless boys have taken to stealing a kitten and, without going into detail, the kitten never comes back. We've lost three - eleven remain. This torture is now happening on a daily basis and to be honest we are starting to lose sleep. I have given chase, tried to discourage them, Spanish locals have shouted at them yet the idiots still persist. I don't want to follow the matter through denuncia or the police for fear of reprisals. The information / ideas I desperately need to know are the numbers/contact details for animal societies local to us, as the sooner we get these poor little kittens out of town the better.

Thank you Alan, I think I have made progress in finding an animal shelter. Fingers crossed. Once I have rehoused the remaining poor little blighters I shall put up the useful numbers I have found too.
