Tansy Tanacetum Vulgare
Tansy has a attractive deep green fern-like leaves and bright yellow button shaped flowers. The leave release a pungent aroma when rubbed which acts as a strong insect repellent, especially good for deterring flies. Can be invasive so may be best grown in a pot. 1-2ft (30-60cm) HP £1.30

I'm hoping I can buy it at the local Garden Centre.
(Don't know if it's dangerous for donkeys to eat, best check)

Hi Metalmonky,
Unfortunately its par for the course.........
I've used some of the mixes on these sites and they improved things a bit 8)

http://www.equine-world.co.uk/horses_care/fly-repel.htm

When in the stable I also used the sticky fly strips (Fly-Kol) so the flies had somewhere to rest
I'm still looking for the face mask supplier I used

Not much fun for the horses this time of year :(
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

The sports shop next to Leroy Merlin sell them. Bought one recently for a friend there :D
