Do you know what leaves these animal droppings

Postby teralin » Tue Jun 30, 2009 10:45 am

Recently I have found some very distinctive dropping on window cills and on the outdoor table. They are brown, cigar shaped, about three quarters of a centimetre long and they have a small white round ball attached to the end. I have only noticed them for the first time this year and I would really like to know what is visiting us in the night. I think that it is either a rodent or a lizard both of which I have seen round here but I would appreciate anyone's input here.

Thanks

If you can collect enough of it, mix it up with any rat droppings that you can find, and take it to the factory in Malaga who use it to make

Thanks guys. Now, I don't suppose you can come up with suggestions for keeping rats from nesting under the bonnet of my car. They use the bonnet insulation to nest in the aircon pipe. Several neighbours have had their car electrics trashed by rats chewng on the wiring.

So far I have tried putting down rat poison which they ignore. I have just tried soaking the insulation with a pine disinfectant to see if that will deter them. Time will tell.

Try a product called rataway do a google search, its made by a company in USA and you spray under the bonnet and it acts as a deterrent, seems to have worked for us and we have had lots of problems with rats eating cables.
