Unbelievable cruelty.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... video.html
I work at an animal sanctuary/small zoo and we have some of these lovely rabbits.
Also we have raccoon dogs, beautiful animals, very friendly and sociable, yet these are skinned alive to make collars etc for cheap imported clothes.
I want to stop eBay from selling these items, but not sure how.
Any ideas please.

I'm always disappointed when a liar's pants don't actually catch on fire.

My sister lives in the north of Scotland, she said there is /was a rabbit farm up there- the rabbits had heated cages (well they would need it in the frozen north ) and the fur was hand brushed, not ripped out of their bodies.

I also read about this, it made my stomach churn. In regard to eBay,they have a way of ignoring complaints when it suits them, you have to be determined and in it for the long haul.It may be worth posting on their forum,or eBay community.

That is horrendous. Shows how far China and quite a few other countries have got to go in terms of animal welfare.

I saw that article - dreadful! You can get a petition started. If you look up Care2 they tell you how to get going and set one up!

No I got that wrong, it is Change.org that help you to set up a petition. You put it online and have to get 10,000 signatures apparently and then you can present it to whoever you want to present it to!

I have just goggled this! " Change.org's stated mission is to "empower people everywhere to create the change they want to see."[4] In addition, "millions of people sign petitions on Change.org each month on thousands of issues, winning campaigns every day to advance change locally and globally." Popular topics of Change.org petitions are economic and criminal justice, human rights, education, the environment, animals, health, and sustainable food" Hope that helps if you want to get up a petition to send to ebay.
