I know its an Owl but what kind?

Found this little fella in one of our palm trees, I know its an owl, a baby owl, but is it a Little Owl baby.
We have resident little Owls but this fella seems bigger than his possible parents.Image

Why not put it on the wildlife site http://www.wildlifespain.com some one will know or put it on the www.wildaboutspain.com/2/post/2013/03/a ... rding.html someone will know there for sure.

Hi,

Looks like a short eared owl but i cant make out the shades around the eyes very well in the photos.
