choosing a cattery + kennels

We might need to place our cat and our medium sized dog in a cattery and kennels for a week due to a raft of family issues in the UK.

My first thought is to ask our vet who she would recommend. I would also like one(s) that is fairly local rather than say drop off and pick up near Malaga airport. The cat does not travel at all well. The dog is likely to suffer separation anxiety which is normal (i believe) for the breed. The cat will be fine if left alone. Both are up to date on their pet passports.

Any tips for making it as stress free as possible would be appreciated? Also what charges can I expect for 8 days?

Have never used it as a kennel or cattery, but have been there and seen what a great set up it is, the staff speak English so a quick phonecall will tell you the price and it's just 15 minutes from Malaga Airport:
