"the residents are happily feeding about 10 cats"
If you don't get the females (at least!) neutered.....to quote one source "An average cat has 1-8 kittens per litter and 2-3 litters per year. During her productive life, one female cat could have more than 100 kittens. A single pair of cats and their kittens can produce as many as 420,000 kittens in just 7 years."
And this ignores the somewhat less than delightful sounds of the toms scrapping for pecking order and the howling while they have their way!

I have fed and looked after a colony of cats for years and everyone was neutered and whenever a new joined I trapped that and had it sterilised, plus I wormed them and those I could get hear I put front line on them, but they were all de-flead when they were neutered and all wounds etc and illnesses treated. We are not all a bunch of "eechets" as you alway seem to presume. :shh:
