Imports from Gibraltar
Imports from Gibraltar
If, for example, I bought a television in Gibraltar, am I right to assume that there would be duty to pay when bringing it into Spain? How can I find out what is subject to duty and what the rates are?
Re: Imports from Gibraltar
They are usually more expensive than Spain.

I love technoligy, I'm always buying those magazines about computers tvs e HI FI etc. When I go to a place I always check out those things including prices, and I agree with Katy I find Glbralta expensive.
An easy example IPOD nano 8GB ,
spain 139 euros
UK 109 pounds
Gilbralta 139 pounds (Although you can barter on the price a little) Plus any taxes you might have to pay. obviously an ipod is small. but a TV would be different because of it's size and price
And this is the same on most things

Re: Imports from Gibraltar
I thought you were allowed about £300 of goods these days so just make sure two of you go.

It's €300 not £300.
You are not allowed to pool allowances and if an item exceeds the allowance you pay duty/iva on the whole amount.
