Does any one know how the Plus Valia tax is worked out?

Each town hall has its own indices. It basically is calculated on the square meterage of the land occupied by the property, the number of years since the last change of ownership a formula applied by the town hall.

Some town halls have online calculators but, failing that, they will tell you prior to the sale what the plus valía will be if you give them the information they require.
