Last August I purchased online, 2 Return flights from Malaga to Glasgow with Flyglobespan which collapsed last week. We were due to fly out this Saturday and have had to re-book with Easyjet. I paid for the flights with a Spanish Visa card issued by Solbank.
Globespan's administraters have advised me to claim a refund from Visa under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Now obviously this is a UK law and does not apply in Spain, Does anyone know if it is possible to claim under a similar law in Spain?

Visa is Visa, and it works the same all over the world, so make your claim.

Re: Spanish Visa Card
My Visa is with Banco Popular. I have never had to make a claim of this kind but I am assured by my bank that the protection is the same worldwide. As Fincalospinos says, go ahead and make your claim.
Let's go Brandon!

Thanks. I will make a claim.
I will visit the bank when and If the rain stops, and when and if the road is passable.
