title insurance
title insurance
I see from their newsletter that Spanish Inland Properties are now offering the above insurance. From previous threads on the Forum this was something that not many people have/knew about. I don't know how good it is and I'm not endorsing it but you may want to check it out.

Re: title insurance
Not only are they offering this insurance, they seem to include it automatically, at no cost to the purchaser!
However, loking at what it covers makes me think it wouldn't be a cheap insurance to buy normally. So, is it really at no cost to the purchaser or are their fees inflated to cover it? That may not affect the purchaser but someone has to pay for it!
I also believe that most, probably not all, of what it covers is something that should be checked and sorted out by a good lawyer before purchasing anyway.
I worry about the part where they employ a specialist lawyer if you get a demolition order. Haven't the well published cases of demolition employed specialist lawyers that haven't been able to stop demolition?
Maybe I am just a cynic and it is a good deal, but I just get the feeling that it is more of an advertising ploy playing on peoples emotions rather than anything of real substance.

I've got an inferiority complex, but it's not a very good one!
