Can this be legal, as it seems to favour spanish citizens and discriminate against others?

I think this is the sentence that reveals all:

Yes I agree but how can they advertise it as mortgage free for 3 years to spanish yet with the mortgage rate quoted for international clients and no free period?

I couldn't get the link to open.
But is this anything to do with the Spanish system of cheap housing where you buy a house built for people who can't normally afford to buy one.
There are severe restrictions on reselling them.They have to be sold back to the local government to make sure nobody speculates, so for many expats looking for an investment they wouldn't be viable..
I know one chap from Leeds,who has a Spanish wife, is buying one .

Mark, do you mean VPO? No they are not these. They used to have these sort of offers in the UK, Overinflated selling prices usually. Haven't looked at these so couldn't say.
