UK Resident, Spanish registered car

Can a UK resident legally drive a fully legal Spanish registered car in the UK?

(Spanish ITV, insurance etc).

For a certain period of time yes, ten you need to register on to UK plates, all info will be on DVLC website

Thanks, yes, I did ring the DVLA, they said six months. It was the insurance I was concerned about particularly.

I would get something in writing from your insurance company here then as normally small print refers to just 3 months in another country

We are with Linea Directa, they said six months but that was when I was Spanish resident.

Does being UK resident make any difference? It would be nice to have some idea before rattling their cage!
