Hi.
Following an accident in Dec we have had a nightmare getting not only our brokers but our own insurers to recognise the fact that we need a courtesy car whilst ours is in the garage for repairs.
We live 10km from the nearest village without public transport or taxis.
Our insurers S.I.S. and brokers S.I.just keep saying its not normal in spain to claim for a courtesy car whilst your own is not available.
I find it very difficult to accept that though the accident was not our fault and Linea DIrecta have admitted their driver was responsible, we are going to have to pay for all losses incurred other than the repair to the car.
Do we have to take Linea Directa to court to recover the amounts paid out?
All advice gratefully received.
Bryan

You need to pay extra on your policy to have a courtesy car included.
