Renting in Spain

Postby Bugsbunny » Fri Mar 26, 2010 9:00 am

Hypothecitally, if I were to rent out an apartment in Spain for holiday lets, how do I go about delaring it for tax reasons - and indeed WHO do I declare to?

Thanks in advance.

I am based in the UK and all my rentals are paid to me in the UK. I went on an Inland Revenue course which was very useful and complete my tax return in the UK.

So I'm best to look at the Inland Revenue site then? I thought I would have to pay tax to the Spanish authorities too - or at least that's what someone told me. Just need to know where to start to find out....

Yes it does seem like something is misssing on the horizon when I am driving across the moss road to Southport. The new bridge on the prom is now the new landmark.
