Postby trader10 » Thu Jan 23, 2014 2:09 pm

Does anybody out there know why Spanish banks charge such high fees,i sold my property in Costa Blanca in September when i went to pay the bankers draft in to Sabadell bank in Torrevieja to send to my currency exchange company in England i was astonished to be told by the commercial bank manager that the fee for this was €440 on an amount of €80,000.

I'm interested to know if and when we decide to sell our holiday home which is the best and cheapest way to do this.
Also is there a thread/topic that covers all aspects of selling.

I've read the capital gains tax topic and I'm sure there is more information on another thread by a seller here who has done this but cant remember where it is.

Also how do I bookmark a thread/topic for further reference.
Many thanks
