I believe when I paid into the system in Spain (I believe it was 245 Euros a month for several years) part of this was paid into a pension scheme? I am also informed I can "transfer" this towards my UK pension contributions. Does anyone know how I do this?

You claim in the country you live in, or if you have never worked there, the last one worked in . Rules here;

It will come under EU rules , resulting in basic payouts from each country being 25-30% higher.
