Samada Race 125

Postby clarkie » Tue May 20, 2008 2:21 pm

Does anyone own one of these scooters currently on offer in Eroski supermarkets? I know you get what you pay for and at just €890 for a 125 they seem very cheaper which is why i wondered if anyone had any experience of them?
Any serious comments welcome.

where do you get servicing?
where do you go for warranty work?
where do you get spare parts?

i looked at them in Eroski last week, and they look ok. But, there always is a lingering doubt.
How much dearer is a reputable make through a 'reputable dealer  ' say something like a Yamaha majesty?

It's cheap ok, depend really on how dependant you would be on it.

I would worry about where and how to buy spares and good service: sooner or later it would need brake pads, filters and so on, and I somehow doubt the manual will spell all this out? The advice on the forum given by Colinm looks sound!
Basic rule: one gets what one pays for......and if it looks to good to be true, it probably is!
