Brightly glowing insects?

There was a bug in the living room the other day, a beetle type thing that what looked like it´s legs glowing BRIGHT florescent green! Tonight there is another insect outside in the shrub doing the same! Any ideas as to what it is?

Sounds like a glow worm to me
The past cannot be changed, but the present can be spoilt by worrying about the future

That top photo looks like a luminous green squirrel!

probably not what you saw, but if you shine a UV light on them, scorpions glow green. Here's a picture someone else took
