Re: Pork Pie
Ken,
Pork Pie with HP Brown Sauce ..for me, and even though I'm a Northerner I always have the pork pie cold....yum yum..I could just eat another one...
Amazing how people from different regions can eat things so differently,.... pork pie with mustard. ?...well I will have to try that....
And now someone is going to say they like pork pie with marmalade or......????
Regards,
Gordon..

If you are ever in the area, try one from Chatsworth farm shop...with mustard of course. A Friend makes her own, they are layered with Pork, Turkey and cranberry ,yummy.

Re: Pork Pie
I adore pork pies and that one sounds yummy. Did you know that they once did a survey and it showed that the number of people admitting to eating pork pies was about 60 per cent less than the number of pies actually sold. Glad to know that everyone on this forum at least is prepared to admit his weakness

Well a youth drug would do it, but to be honest, i;m not a miserable old git, but i don't think i would like to start all over again, like they say, THINGS AIN'T LIKE THEY USE TO BE. BUT DO WISH I COULD PIN POINT WHAT WAS IN THE PASTRY THAT MAKES THE PROBLEM,?
Re: Pork Pie

Re: Pork Pie
Nice one Ken. I took a picture of mine but I'm better at cooking than using a computer. How did you get it onto A.com. My picture is already on the computer.
Thanks

Re: Pork Pie
Ken, belly pork is best, pork pie is so lovely because of the huge fat content - the more the tastier
Don't worry Bluebell, I can see it as well so you are not going mad, although of course we both could be.........Bluebell wrote: Am I the only one who can see the gnome???
Re: Pork Pie
I´d love to see a few pics of the pork pie being made! You know, stage one boiling pigs trotter, stage two etc. It doesn´t have to be a pork pie, it could be something else, but the pie did look scrumptious. Yuuuuummmmmy.
Maybe you could strategically place the whistling gnome somewhere on each pic for me to spot!
