Dog Wanted Medium to large

Postby aquaman » Sun Oct 11, 2009 12:38 am

We are looking for a medium to large dog eg labrador, labrador or german shepherd mix etc must be male as we already have a small female dog. We can offer a loving home with lots of walks. Maybe someone returning to the UK and can't take their pet. Not a puppy.

PM dido72. I know she has been landed with a dog that she needs to rehome. She was/is looking after it for a Brit who went back to the UK and "promised" to return for his dog...but now nearly a year later has said he can't

Hi thanks Hilly,

I have a lovely dog who needs a new home, he is a medium sized terrier cross and gets on fab with my 2 dogs (male and female) he is also great with children, he is really friendly and loving and I would love to keep him but really can't take in any more strays. He is another victim of his family returning to the UK without him  .

if you are interested please let me know I can send photo's

As you appear to live in Marbella, try the local rescue centre at San Pedro, behind the scrap yard,up the road from la Canada shopping centre.named triple A,they also have a web site, they have loads of dogs all different sizes, staff are very helpful and informative.

(Only) slightly digressing...but how on earth can any so-called animal lovers even think of returning to UK without their dog(s)???? Sorry if I appear really naive but the two concepts just don't go together for me....
Personally, I've got myself into so much trouble over the years because I refused to give 'second best' to whatever pets -- especially dogs and horses -- I might have at the time. A commitment is a commitment, after all.....and I know where my loyalties lie, lol...on the side of the defenceless!!
Life is as good as you make it, just keep my glass half full

A happy ending!! We have still got the dog that was dumped on us but the good news is that his owners are now having him shipped to the UK once he is ready to travel so all's well that ends well!!!
