Home for 3yr beagle
Re: Home for 3yr beagle
From the papers today "A pitbull is a knife with a heartbeat" Sums it up perfectly for me, personally. Apparantly, thugs are now using the dogs for their violent activities as the maximum sentence for having a banned dog is 6 months as opposed to 4 years for carrying a knife or 5 years for a gun.

And what you have just said 'Scot' sums up how ignorant you are!

It's Scot not 'Scot'
Re: Home for 3yr beagle
My neighbour had a 4 year old Weimaraner which seemed friendly enough. Last Saturday he was settling it down in its bed and it attacked him for no reason. He was bitten around one eye (which he nearly lost) and when he was fighting it off had many bites to his arms. He was on a hospital operating table for an hour and a half. He has had the dog put down. Can't say I blame him.

That's impossible Pauly!!! Weimaraners aren't dangerous dogs!!
Seriously, I don't blame him either. They can be quite a nervy breed - it obviously went schizo Hope your neighbour is OK.

Pauly thats terrible - I hope too that your neighbour does well I agree that any dog/animal has the potential to harm. There must be mental health issues amongst the animal population as well as the human race and we get the odd "rogue" animal as well as owners.
Re: Home for 3yr beagle
One bite and some folk want the dog put down? Eh? For all we know the dog could have an injury and the kid stepped on it (wherever the injury was).
Suggestion? Get that beagle back on the cigarettes.

Putting an animal down is always a very hard decision BUT stop delaying it and do it....how would you feel if you re homed the dog and it bit another child....
If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much room

What has happened to the dog in question? A difficult situation for everyone concerned.
