2 threads - 'airbrushed'?

Postby Pauly » Wed Feb 10, 2010 11:10 am

We had a 9 page thread and another one that grew out of the first and they've both disappeared...

In soviet Russia folks used to get airbrushed out of photos if they fell out of favour (or out of a window :( ) .... makes yer think :!: :)

Agreed....sort of .... but loads of others aren't about Andalucia e.g how to render a wall - how to fix outlook express etc etc

No great problem as far as I'm concerned...a little bit interesting tho

True, we've even had threads about UK Residents ID Scheme, nothing at all to do with Andalucia! ;-)

Hey! good point Frank. You should realise that although these ex-pats are NEVER going to return to the UK they want all the benefits pertaining to their much maligned homeland, Threads about keeping a foothold in both countries are of the upmost importance to living in andalucía

It may not be important to you, living in the UK for 50 weeks of the year, but it is very important to a lot of people who LIVE in Andalucia.

If you can't contribute anything useful about living in Spain perhaps you should just keep quiet.

"but it is very important to a lot of people who LIVE in Andalucia."
As it's exclusively for UK residents, it has absolutely zilch to do with non UK residents. However, as Katy says, you'd love to keep a foot in both camps.

I sometimes get the feeling that some posters think there is something superior about being full-time Andalucia dwellers and that those who just either holiday there, or split their time between Spain and the UK are somehow lesser mortals. I don't know why :? . I found this Forum because I was looking for something that would help to keep me informed about Andalucia even though I don't live there and I find it interesting...simples

That is the whole point of the petition!
It should not be "exclusively for UK residents" it should be for UK citizens wherever they choose to live.
Nothing whatsoever to do with " love to keep a foot in both camps"

Very, very quiet on 'ere since maddygate  , it needs an "ex pats shouldn't get state pensions" thread to liven things up a bit :silent:

hello jool.one thread was my one where i was asking if i could claim child benefit when moving back to the uk.for some reason this question burst the blood vessels of some of the ´contributors´to this thread.

the second one was where jane grant said it wasnt her that retroP was accusing of being a troll. it was stated that it was princess peach, tho she was one of the few who had actual helpful advice for me.

hope this helps and dont stay away so long in future:who knows what you might miss.someone asking for advice on the heating allowance?
