Hi,
Best to get a full quote so you can compare prices and service with other carriers.......

From poshpetsspain..........

"Our vehicles are customized to DEFRA APPROVED standards with all mod cons including, twin air conditioning, music system and on board fridge"

The on-board fridge might set you back a bit if your pet has a drinking habit

My best price and service for getting a small dog back to the UK recently........464€

Some want me to drive half way across Andalucia just to drop him off

i´d do it for 225/cat ...

but i´ve only got a car, so they would have to go on the back seat / in the boot with the seats down.

Hi SL,
If this trip is going down you had best check the Pets Passports ASAP to ensure they are Ready to go.
The Rabies one will need Both dates , they need to be clear and no alterations.
Some of the French checkers seem to have been left over from when the Germans were in town.

Hi SL,
There a loads of "Pet Transporters" running from Spain to UK.
When travelling on the Ferries the operators refer to owner/escort that accompany the pet.

One thing you need to factor in is.............this cost ?

"Pets must also be treated for internal and external parasites (tick and tapeworm) between 24-48 hrs prior to embarkation on the cross-Channel ferry/train"

Cost me 64€ for the above and update Pets Passport for a small dog to come through the Channel Tunnel last week via a "Pet Transporter"

To get up to speed on Pets Passport...........

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTr ... DG_4000019

Also look at the Pets Travel Compliance Checklist.................

http://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/pet-f ... -checklist

Other costs ?................ overnight stop over ?

Fuel...............Málaga to Caláis
http://www.viamichelin.co.uk

Costs276.23 EUR
Toll 82.25 EUR | Petrol 193.98 EUR |
Time20h07 which 18h58 on motorways
Distance2107 km which 2047 km on motorways

To give you some idea.....

If you get a dummy made, looking like a very old German bloke, you could dope the moggies, put them inside the dummy, then take "him" on a low-cost airline saying he is asleep? Don't try this coming through John Lennon Scouseland though...they seem to have been awake there recently...

SL if you do don't get too worried about the flea etc treatment between 48 and 24 hours before boarding.
Most Spanish vets realise it's a load of nonsense and will sign and date the passprt with the required date without ripping you off .

Don t want to do anyone out of a job but, have you thought about looking at and asking cat breeders who they use, they ship all over the world with a courier that is usually only about €45 for most of Europe.
Thats it for now
