Planning Query

Hi

Does anyone know how long planning consent lasts before it expires? We need to make an application to demolish a ruin and re-build. We're not in a position to get the work done yet but wonder whether it's worth applying now for the planning permission.

our planning permission to rebuild a ruin in Vejer de la Frontera was valid for 6 months, but you can have apply for extensions at the issuing town hall. Our build is now 3 years in the making!
