Does anyone know a decent place to buy a sea kayak?

Decathlon, Malaga, near the airport and beside Leroy Merlin.

I agree with ajtg1952. I haven't been in the one at Malaga but last year I was in the Decathlon branch at Fuengirola and they had quite a selection.
I've got an inferiority complex, but it's not a very good one!

A friend of mine kayaks most days when the sea allows. He would not recommend Decathlon as they are quite cheap and will soon hurt your back if you intend to use it a lot. Decathlon are ok if you just want to play and not go any distance. The distance my friend goes is from Cabopino to Marbella. Its always easy going one way but hard work the other. You need to be comfortable so buy a good quality kayak if you are serious.

Always a good selection, at various quality levels, on ebay.

eBay Spain?
I'm presuming the tides aren't too dangerous around Costa Tropical waters? I've done a lot of divig there before and fairly often seen some kayak fishermen going out.

Vendors on ebay despatch to the whole world. I'd assumed that includes Spain.

No tide in Costa tropical. If you consult the tidal tables for the area you will see the difference between High and Low tide is about 1". Nothing. People confuse tides with other sea states. The med has virtually no tides once you get to Costa Tropical.

However there can be currents, high wind and storm induced sea water conditions which are in some respects worse than tides.

Worse, because tides are completely predictable.

TBH, I've been kayaking before but always in bigger groups. At first, I'd only go out in calmer waters. I can't imagine many currents that you couldn't get out of with a paddle but perhaps I'm wrong.

obv, life jacket, knife, 2 way radio, etc.

Any recommendations on a 2 person fishing kayak?
