There you go again stepping in when there is a slight wobbly. Were you by any chance one of those knitters watching the heads roll during the Terror in a previous life
Have I been downgraded from a "stunning rant" to a "slight wobbly" already? Must be a bit like S&P or Moody's downgrading the Spanish banks. I must say I thought DA was setting the bar a bit low.

Oh darn! When I wrote my reply I very nearly said 'Never mind, Frank, Sooty'll be along in a minute' (or is it Sweep? I forget who's who.....) Wish I had now, but I decided to be nice :) Silly where you're concerned eh, Katy?

So I open a new account with this bankrupt bank, give them at least €300 a month and they give me a Spiderman beachtowel- Nah, the Chinese shop in Coín has them for a one off payment of €5
Bankrupt by €24 Billion, government with no money to bail them out, why have the account holders not taken all their money out by now, I know a lot have, but what's wrong with these people? :wtf:

The spanish people I have spoken too, don't appear to think there is a problem :shifty:

I have taken anymoney I had there already just less a couple of k in to cover running costs.

I am starting to think something may happen with Spain before Greece

They do now judging by the reader's comments in El Pais online edition - loads of them saying there going to empty their accounts when they open.
I blame the delay on the lack of a Robert Peston equivalent in Spain, remember the spectacular run on Northern Rock that was partly attributed to him in 2008?

Then the funds in reserve drop & they require more money . Best if Rajoy just takes them over & guarantees the debts ,if & when they arise. Then the billions not used to prop it up will be able to be used to try & create some jobs.
