Where to buy a garden shed

Postby gavilan » Wed Jul 04, 2012 11:16 am

The story is that I ordered a shed from Leroy Merlin on 11 May and was given a delivery date of 15 June. 16 June I had a phone call to say there had been 'an incident' and the shed could not be delivered ... but was told to expect delivery shortly ... a few days later and another phone call told me the shed would come yesterday 3 July ... no sign of it to date and can get no clear info from LM. I am getting a bit desperate/frustrated and am now thinking of canceling the order ... and so the question is: does anyone know of an alternative (and reliable!) supplier in the Malaga or Velez-Malaga area?

Try Bauhaus, they have all types of sheds and huts

I strongly disagree with Ama: if you search on here there is a long, expensive and sorry tale about buying a shed from Bauhaus!

I know this is a very negative post but ,

My neighbour is just taking her wodden shed to the basura - its just 5 years old
The floor panel has buckled,
The door warped wont secure (so the wind has had it away twice)
The roof as twisted so badly that the rain gets in
the side panels have also twisted and you can see daylight through them
...and the final straw .. the wood boring beetle has decided that it likes the main frame supports
Oh and the roof felt has been replaced twice.

Shes getting a steel one next !

IBI on a shed .... what they dont know ont hurt them.
It really isnt worth the angst of trying to declare it for the diference it will make. Or trying to remove it when you get rid of the shed.
