Second Har Car registration

Thinking of buying a 2nd hand car and wondered if anyone knew the costs for transferring ownership/paperwork and how to go about it. I may have missed a previous thread on this but any help greatly appreciated.

its around 130€ to transfer a 1000€ car to ur name.

its done thru the town hall in ur town.

it takes around a month to do it apparently. u need the owners nie / nif number, yours, ur address, proof of address, and a padronamiento (proof u live there)

Usually the price quoted on a 2ndhand car includes all the transfer fees (check when looking). That way you go to the gestor with the vendor, who pays, and you know that all the paperwork is being processed and monies etc paid.

we never went with him when we bought our first s/h car here ? signed the papers, he foned us a month later and we picked up the car.
