Anyone know of a man & van UK to Spain?

Postby jennym » Sat Mar 16, 2013 4:25 pm

I live in Hertfordshire and I need a large (isn) box of things sent to our apartment in Estepona as soon as possible. Does anybody know of such a person that can do this please?

I you understand Spanish well, I 've seen a post in Spaniards forum that could be useful for you. It tells about a a man who drives cars full of ítems for other people from Spain to UK and vice versa. It includes the contact details, and you could even ask for references to the author of the post.

Good luck!

We've always used Jimbothescot and found him reasonable and fully insured . He has a website giving dates he is in UK and Spain. He's got one large lorry and offers a personal door to door service.

Another vote for Jimbo too, very reasonable and everything arrived in good shape and on time. ( I then broke a plate and the pup an antique cup  ) We told friends about Jimbo but they chose another company- items were lost/missing and broken. They never did get the missing things back.

Thank you Fyfin and Oliveview for the kind words,Jenny did e-mail me to see if I could help, but I had been in Essex the day before she pm`d me and by the time I got it I was in South Wales and then going up to North Wales and Scotland.
I know sometimes things happen quickly and people need to get something transported at short notice and it`s always worth an e-mail to check if I can help, but in general if you can give more notice, then you are more liable to get the person you want to move your goods whether it`s me or any other removal man. At the moment my May trip is almost full and I already have bookings in for June and August.
Whoever moves your goods I hope things go smoothly for all the forum readers.

Try Murray Harper. Used them a few times over the years and they do small items too. They are based in Estepona.

Sorry it's taken so long to reply to you all to say thank you. I usually get an email stating that I have a reply to my question but did not receive one on this matter! However, thank you all for your replies, I shall let you know which one I've booked!

Digamextra (digamextra.com) has almost daily advertisements for this sort of service.
