Aloe Vera Brown Spots

Postby Unicorn » Fri Jan 30, 2015 7:23 pm

As the title suggests I have a couple of aloe vera plants that have brown spots. Other than that they seem perfectly healthy. Should I treat it with a fungicide?

Are they indoors or outdoors? Brown spots on Aloe Vera means sunburn ie direct sun

Hiya

Outdoor but on a balcony/terrace. They arrived like that from a mate's garden.

Thanks.

Indoors it can mean too much water.

Aloe Vera plants do best when only getting the gentle morning sun and being sheltered by afternoon. Do not give an aloe vera plant extra water as it will cause root rot. As already advised correctly by Sandra.
