There will be loads of recipes in the book,we seem to put kale in everything as it's relatively cheap and good for you.
Don't forget,it's not a liquidiser it's a masher into tiny little bits so don't expect no bits.

If you put some fruit in it'll make a simple drink though won't it? The juicer we had was great but I thought these were miles better listening to comments.

I'm glad you got sorted I mill flax seeds and keep them ready to add to anything. Spinach is a good sub for kale. Happy juicing

DA it will mash juicy fruits up ,like grapes,blueberries,strawberries etc but it will ieave the pulp which is a good thing and make athick drink and I mean thick!
For veg,like Kale,carrots etc you will have to put in liquid,whether it be water,milk ,ice etc.,otherwise you're drinking mashed veg.
Always bear in mind it is not a liquidiser and you'll be ok.

Thanks Nimmy, I can see myself gagging on it though if it's too thick. Not opened it yet, OH can do that when she gets home but I'm assuming you can water the thick pulp fruit mix down into a drink.........otherwise I'll be sticking to my Carlsberg

So if it's not a liquidiser, what is it?

If you attach a motor to some sharp blades in a flask most people call it a blender or liquidiser.

So what does this magic, overpriced device do that a conventional device does not do?

Or is it just marketing hype? I have a suspicion it might be.

There probably is some hype to it but it does work.
You have to add liquid to it ,whether it be water (or water in the form of ice),milk or fruit juice.
What it does do is blitz solids into tiny bits better than a conventional blender.
Depending what you put in,there will be pulp which has to have liquid added to it to drink it.
What's the advantage.?
It isn't dear,unless you think £100.00 is expensive,it's easy to use,easy to clean and it's quick.Other blenders we have used haven't done the job so well.
If you're a sceptic then don't buy it,but if you do buy you'll see what I mean.

As Lyric points out there are other Blenders that do smoothies too at a more modest price.

This one does the job at half the price....might look like a Drax cooling tower and has enough db noise levels to render her in door quiete for the duration of the blend.............

Sid, it is an excellent, efficient, easy clean liquidiser. I have a large Kenwood liquidiser, a processor, a wand and a juicer. Nothing I have or had breaks down the food, fruit, veg, nuts, ice etc. as completely or as rapidly as my Nutribullet. The advantage over a juicer is that you benefit from drinking the fibre , not just the juice. Consistency is purely a matter of taste and preference. Smoothies or milk shakes, health drinks or soups. Add what quantity and type of liquid you like.
No one can be more cynical of kitchen gizmos than I, but until you have used one, tasted the results and literally rinsed to clean it, it's difficult to believe it's efficiency and good design. I was fortunate to use my daughter's first, but bought one for myself that week on the strength of first hand experience.
( I'm still not on commission )

Thanks guys for the heads up on this, used the little Nutribullet this morning for the first time and you are correct in your summary.
Very well made appliance with amazing power. End result was impressive and for the price of it I'm glad I bought one. I'd never have thought of one without this thread.
