Hi ,
i wonder if anyone can help.
I am thinking of relocating to Andalucia in the next year or so but as a keen pigeon fancier am looking for an area that still has a strong racing fraternity.
My searches on the web have proved fruitless so any help would be appreciated.
also I believe that there are restrictions on keeping pigeons such as licences etc.
Thanks in advance
Phil

A word of warning - there are hunters about and a specific hunting season for Palomas - migrating wild pigeons ... a remarkable number of domestic, homing, wild "pigeons" rock-doves, turtle doves etc also end up shot at that time of year.
Your "loft" will also have to be cat-proof and fox-proof, depending where you end up - in town or in country. Try your ayuntamento first, and if no joy try the Guardia Civil Seprona division which deals with all things environmental and animal - permits, exploitation, etc.
some web pages for you from a google search

Unfortunately most of the sites in Spanish are all to do with hunting pigeons , not keeping, rearing and racing them - sorry!
