Pamela1, thank you for the welcomed guidance on post phrasing will help in not being shot down so early on my maiden flight.

My advice think very carefully before you post. Unless you want shot down in flames. I mostly read the posts but rarely comment because you get the same members that think they are above you trying to be shoot you down.

Re: Forum Gone Very Quiet
I hope not, swerve, because we are all the same on here and that's what makes it so nice. I know that some of you, who live close to each other, actually know each other 'in real life' and socialise. A few forum members know who i 'really' am — although some days I struggle with that one myself. However, most of us are anonymous and we are only 'known about' by our posts. I've got a picture of all the regular forum members in my head and I like them all but no one is above or below anyone else. At least that's the way I feel.you get the same members that think they are above you

Re: Forum Gone Very Quiet
I wasn't having a go about grammar or phrasing, merely pointing out out that the cesspit that is UK politics has entered a rest period, so there is nothing to comment on?
Of course there are plenty of things to talk about should anyone wish - slimey Blair being exposed at last, "brave" hunters shooting wonderful animals, American cops shooting any black person they feel scared of....

Peter of course you weren't having a go, as you say you were pointing out why things are quiet at the moment....but yes you are right there are many other things which people could talk about ..maybe when they have got their batteries recharged..

But sticking strictly to Andalucia and what's going on here....
I'm meeting some friends for coffee at noon, then coming home to the pool for the afternoon. What's everyone else up to today?!

Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often

Re: Forum Gone Very Quiet
Welcome pthomas, its always quiet on the forum this time of year, many will be at the beach etc, or if inland trying to get as much as possible done before the burning sun becomes unbearable and by that time probably cream crackered from the heat, dont worry all forums have quiet times.
Re: Forum Gone Very Quiet
Well one thing with that is that Spain after the USA is the largest importer of "trophy" items, such as lions heads, skins, horns etc. Not nice and all! Trophy hunting should be banned. Although I would like to import a few trophy hunters heads on a spikekaty wrote:Yes, we could even talk about Spain lots in the news every day.peteroldracer wrote:I wasn't having a go about grammar or phrasing, merely pointing out out that the cesspit that is UK politics has entered a rest period, so there is nothing to comment on?

Hope springs eternal, Mark.
We were at Marble Arch 2 weeks ago,Saturday, taking photographs. The "Remain" march started there and we mingled and chatted. One of my neighbours said that on the photos, I looked like Norris from Coronation Street. I don't watch that programme, so I haven't a clue - is that a good thing or a bad thing does anyone know ?

I've been going through a very tough time personally since the end of January, I have had more on my plate than I can handle (my future is still unclear) so I haven't been posting very often, maybe others here have different reasons !
