Shark alert at Fuengirola !

Just heard that there has been a shark warning issued at Fuengirola.
I always thought Nerja was the only area with undesirables in the water

There are plenty of sharks in Fuengirola and there not all in the sea.

That's true of a lot of places!!

Gus sounds like a good excuse to kill a few more sharks [I notice here near Cadiz we see far too many sharks on the slab, These are of course dragged up in nets in deep water, not near beaches.]

It says three people reported the shark. So one saw a dolphin and screamed and two screamed in sympathy. After all if a bus load of tourists can be convinced they saw the Loch Ness monster when a stick protuded from the water

I've dived around the peninsula and never seen a shark. And probably one dive in 5 around the Caneries I've seen angel sharks - they wouldn't hurt a fly.

Don't get me wrong I'm no hero. I run a mile if I see a jellyfish
