parking at malaga airport

we are driving down to malaga area for 3 months in sept and have friends flying down to visit during our stay
is there a short term parking there for picking up people and is it easy to find also any idea of the cost.. when we have flown
we normanly just rent a car never looked for parking!!

Yes, it's quite easy to find - look for car rental returns and it's slightly further on. Cost is not too bad, we usually pay a couple of euros or so, as long as you don't have a long wait you should be fine. You pick up a ticket from the machine as you drive in and pay at one of the machines in the car park before you drive out.

It's on the same level as the Arrivals Hall, about a 5 minute walk from the car park. walk to your right as you come out of the car park.

Hi bawnbue1,
We always use the P2 (short or Longer Term) Parking for picking up and dropping off.
Its on the Departures level......there is a moving walkway from the Longer term area and probably cheaper than short Term.
But a Irene points out its not expensive 1-2 € ish...........lift or moving stairway down to Arrivals.
The cheapest ever parking at an Airport ......the other month at Granada........ 0.35cents
