There is a big band of rain crossing Spain at the moment. The radar pictures show it very clearly. However, it peters out nearer the coast. There will probably be raining inland, but the coast may miss it entirely or at worst, get a light shower.

Statistically, we get some heavy rain, usually thunderstorms, at the end of September and it almost always rains in October.

Has it rained in Torrox Costa yet Patricia? It got very windy here and now had dropped out completely. No sign of rain so far.

It has rained lightly twice up above T.C. @ 450m, clearing to the west now can see TdM and Malaga bay so that might be the end of it.

Looking at the radar you might get a bit soon Sid.

We had very little rain last night, just a light shower but not really enough to even totally wet the ground. It is much cooler though and I feel quite cold this morning! Woke in the night and pulled up the duvet .... it's all relative as it had been 30 degrees in the house for a few weeks but then the temperature dropped to 18 outside last night ..... brrrr :)

Totally Tropical at Southport yesterday, 26 degrees, stair rod rain, thunder, lightening the works. Steam rising off roads on way home.

I told the Mrs there was no need to take jackets and brollies when we set off...............boy did I pay for that misjudgement as we both got p1ssed wet through 2 miles from the car. It is all very Frosty here this morning, due to my lack of accurate weather prediction

We had a tremendous thunderstorm last night (south of Manchester) - it lasted over an hour with torrential rain & loads of thunder & lghtning. I gather flights were suspended at Manchester airport (nearby), and the tram system in Machester entre was suspended as the roads were so flooded....

just found this - spectacular lightning :-)
