Plastic Storage Box for Hanging Files

Postby vinuela vinny » Sun Mar 12, 2017 9:23 am

Morning All

Wondered if any of you knowledgeable folk could help me source a couple of large plasic boxes (19 litre?) with internal lips for hanging document files please?

A typical example online is at -
https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Filing-Produ ... suspension
but they will not deliver to Spain.....

We are visiting the coast (from our backwater in the campo 60k from Sevilla) between Malaga and Fuengirola next Wednesday on our bi-annual trip to stock-up with goodies for grandchildren visiting at Easter, and wondered if there was a multiple stationers on the Costa - similar to Staples in the UK - where we might source such an item. We're fed-up with expanding files which tend to burst open!

Any thoughts welcome, and thanks in anticipation

Best Regards

Vincent

I'm pretty sure PC World closed several years ago.
Is this any use? https://www.amazon.es/Helit-H6110084-ar ... a+archivos
Alternatively, have a look in one of the large Chinese bazaars. There's a new one just opened on the edge of Torremolinos, opposite Hipersol by the roundabout on the bypass road, with plenty of free parking. If they don't sell it, you don't need it!
Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often

The same item is available on amazon.es, where delivery will not be a problem.

Always worth a peek at .es (or even .fr or .de) where "everything stops at Dover" UK companies will not mail abroad, or where UK delivery costs are extortionate. Just block-copy the article title, and throw it into the other Amazon site(s); the article titles are always the same. Prices often differ, too, across the various sites.

If PC World has closed what about Media Mart. There is one of those in Malaga also.

Electronics. Don't think they do much stationery.

He is not looking for stationary if you read the post. Media Mart and PC world actually sell everything office wise.

Stationery, office supplies...PC world is still closed! Never seen filing boxes in Mediamarkt, but I could be wrong.

True, Vinny, but I was only trying to help. Seems someone else is just being difficult. Don't know why.
I'm not wrong: PC World is definitely closed, and according to Mediamarkt themselves, they don't sell the type of box you're looking for - I just asked them via their online chat service. Of course, they could be wrong.... :silent:

Can't say I've noticed any for sale in a Spanish shop.
