Public Telephone Malaga Airport

Does anyone know if there are public telephone booths/boxes at Malaga Airport in the luggage carousel hall at the budget airline area. I know they have them in the meet and greet area

There used to be one on the wall near the toilets but I haven’t noticed one for a few years. Not that I have looked. I thought pay phones were a thing of the past. Doesn’t everyone have at least one mobile now?

Yes Normally, but for a single traveller there's always a chance a mobile may be lost, stolen, mislaid, damaged, without credit (especially PAYG), without power etc. Believe it or not in our Spanish village there are two public phone booths, population around 650, around these parts there are folk who are still in the 20th or even the 19th century.

I've often wondered what I would do if my mobile didn't work. Last time I arrived we had to fumble between three PAYG phones to try and get one with enough credit phone the car park. And of course, the one that did have credit didn't have the number logged.

We checked with the airport and they tell us there is not one in this luggage collection area.
