My friend needs to replace a false drop down type ceiling, any ideas welcome. He is thinking of the type where there is a drop-down rigging and the tiles fit in to the squares. It is just a medium size bedroom and too much bother to bring builder in and create a mess.
If any has any ideas as to where this type of stuff can be bought it be most welcome. There may also indeed be a better option we are not aware of.
Many thanks.

Re: ceiling
It's called a suspended ceiling. Google it to locate suppliers - you'll probably find some not far away.

He lives in the catchment area of Malaga but will go wherever necessary, they are planning a few days in Seville so can do there either.costakid wrote:Where are you based? Leroy merlin sell this stuff.
I am hoping someone will give me the actual Spanish name of the product and where it can be bought.
These people have hardly any Spanish so if i find this info they can literally go to the shop with a piece of paper and hopefully get what they need.

El cielo raso o falso techo
(Although I'm not suggesting that you go to Peru to get it)
