I would like to assure myself that I would be able to survive on my own here in Spain. Any relevant information would be great. But please do not ask if things are still a bit raw I don't want to seem insensitive.

As you have no specific question regarding your thread title I think the Link Gerry posted covers it. As to anything else they did say the legal costs and taxes involved changing name on escritura and all other legal requirements was in their opinion very costly. The basic funeral at the crematorium alone ran to 4k+ euros

Maybe the legal side of it needs a bit of investigation. I have already found funeral at €1,400 incl taxes. This scheme suits our wishes. I guess will just have to investigate further. Thanks very much for your help.

Before I give the details, I must point out that is a very specific service for that price. It is no frills, no guests, no service. They do other schemes but the one I quote is as above. Should you still be interested I will private message the details.

I would imagine everyone would be interested in at least seeing what you get for this €1400 all in price....cannot see the harm in putting the link to the details in the open forum far all to see ......unless it's just a link to a very expensive shovel

All the others I tried wanted to sell me loads of stuff we just didn't want. I have spoken to my representative in this area and he was really pleasant. They don't push you to pay up front either.
