I seen the following on another forum:-
Airport workers voted for a general strike at 25 airports in Spain in a mass protest against working conditions and low pay.
Car park staff, luggage belt-operators security, IT and retail and catering staff will all down tools on 25 days from September 15th until the end of the year.
The 24 hour strikes have been set for five days in September, seven days in October, two days in November and 11 days in December, including five consecutive days from December 26th to 30th – dates that will cause maximum disruption to Christmas and New Year travellers.
The dates are:
September 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th and 29th.
October 1st, 6th, 11th, 15th, 27th, 30th and 31st.
November 3rd and 5th.
And December 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th & between 26th-30th inclusive.
Cheers

Re: Airport strikes in Spain
Lucky us have two trips back to the UK booked. Both of which are on planned strike days. Sucks eh?????. Can only hope they reach an agreement soon and call them off.

We too! Out and back to/from Eindhoven both on affected days! I don't see mention of which airports but I would be surprised if Seville isn't one of them.

Good point, I just assumed that was all of them, well the major ones. Is it listed anywhere as i have seen no mention of specific airports affected.
Fingers crossed for Malaga then.

Re: Airport strikes in Spain
Saw this link on Facebook this morning suggesting that the strikes have been put on hold:-

Maybe true, maybe not. These days who knows what news is genuine...
