I am sitting here with my friend and we are trying to work out what time we can see the eclipse live streamed on the Nasa website tomorrow evening here in southern Spain. Neither one of us is very bright and we cannot agree what time we should switch on. Please advise.
PS. We are both quite bright about some things . . . just not about this. I expect Sid knows!

Re: Solar eclipse
Frustratingly the last few evenings/nights here have been foggy ... I cannot even see the nearby mountains and the forecast is similar for tomorrow ..I doubt we shall see anything ... but I do so hope it is an experience worth remembering for you and your friend ...
Re: Solar eclipse
Did anyone see anything of this eclipse?
Re: Solar eclipse
I used the webisite to calculate when it was . 8.58 p.m. Then promptly forgot until the TV programme finished at 9.00 . Too late.
Re: Solar eclipse
According to the weather prog the eclipse was due here at something like 20:40. Where we are though the sun had aleady disappeared behind the hill besides us by about 8:30pm so no view of it for us. Just seen some pics on the weather channel from around Spain so some people got to see the partial eclipse.
Re: Solar eclipse
Unless you had a welder's mask or proper gear you probably have reduced eye sight now if you saw something from Spain... the total eclipse was visible from the Atlantic outside Virginia to the Pacific outside Oregon. Straight through The Bible Belt where people doesn't believe in science.
