USINSPAIN,
From memory I believe that the insurance company is correct and if you cancel the policy you may find that the company will ask for part payment as you didn't give notice of cancellation ( 3 months I think ).
May I suggest that you may find it better to dispose of the vehicle and just hire a car when visiting, it will probably work out cheaper and certainly less hassle.
Regards,
Gordon

Unless it has been officially taken off the road by getting a temporary "Baja" from Trafico it must be insured.

It's the same in the UK now, you have to declare a SORN on a vehicle even if your vehicle is locked up in a garage on private property if you have no insurance or RFL.USINSPAIN wrote:That's what I thought costakid
